Join the SBIN Partnership team as a Sales Associate, where you’ll gain practical sales experience in a sports business setting. Your primary focus will be onboarding 2–5 clients and delivering weekly partnership leads, all while learning to negotiate and close deals in real-world scenarios. You’ll also research client needs, develop tailored sponsorship proposals, and maintain top-notch communication with each partner. By meeting weekly quotas on sales meetings and pitches, you’ll play a key role in ensuring successful activation and lasting partnerships

Key Objectives

1. Establish Client Base

  • Onboard 2-5 clients to service their commercial rights and help establish lasting partnerships

2. Sales Lead Generation

  • Generate weekly partnership and sales leads for clients and then pursue generated leads for prospective partnerships

3. Develop Sponsorship Proposals

  • Research client needs and create tailored packages. Integrate marketing assets into compelling sponsorship decks.

4. Negotiate and Close Deals

  • Practice and refine sales techniques in real-world negotiations

  • Meet minimum weekly quotas on sales meetings and pitches

5. Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain clear communication channels and deliver top notch service

The Team

The Sponsorship team at SBIN aims to provide a hands-on space for Northeastern students seeking practical sales experience in a sports business setting. This semester, the team will service 2–3 clients, focusing on developing sponsorship proposals, negotiating partnership terms, and ensuring successful execution of deliverables.

The Marketing team at SBIN provides a collaborative space for Northeastern students interested in sports marketing, branding, and digital media. This semester, the team will focus on strengthening SBIN’s brand identity, enhancing our digital platforms, and supporting club initiatives through strategic marketing efforts across social, web, and live events.

    • Ensure consistent tone, visuals, and messaging

    • Improve the SBIN website and keep content pages up to date and professional

  • Content Creation

    • Produce engaging social media content, graphics, and written copy

    • Highlight events, research, members, and industry trends

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution

    • Plan and execute marketing campaigns for events and initiatives

    • Track engagement and optimize strategies based on performance

  • Cross-Team Collaboration

    • Work closely with Research, Partnerships, and Events teams to support initiatives

    • Translate ideas and insights into compelling marketing assets
